Cars: Vietnam output up 59.6 percent in first eight months of 2025
Vietnam’s car production in August 2025 was estimated at 40,100 units, up from 37,600 units in July.
According to the latest data from Vietnam’s National Statistics Office, August output rose 37.1 percent year-on-year.
From January to August 2025, cumulative production reached 302,000 units, an increase of 59.6 percent compared with the same period in 2024.
Cars remain a critical component of Vietnam’s industrial output, with implications for trade, employment, and infrastructure development.
