Protec is a brand of Vietnam Safety Products and Equipment Co., Ltd specializes in manufacturing motorcycle and bicycle helmets with a capacity of up to 5,000,000 caps per year. In addition to popular helmet lines for adults and children, the company also designs and sells gift helmet lines for businesses upon request.This is a Vietnam-based social enterprise established by the American NGO 501(c)(3), the AIP Foundation.
Protec owns a helmet factory in Hanoi with a system of stores that distribute products across the country and a store in Cambodia.
-> Profits from the factory and sales will be funded for public awareness campaigns and traffic safety education projects through the AIP Foundation`s activities at Vietnam, Thailand and Cambodia.Currently, Protec company has about 300 employees, including 200 direct workers at the factory, of which 1/3 of disabled workers work at the assembly stage at the factory.
