Indonesia
Indonesia was Vietnam’s largest export market for plastics in July, with values soaring to $24,355,334.
This marks a 25.18 percent month-on-month increase from June.
Indonesia’s year-to-date total stands at $171,280,383, accounting for 12.57 percent of all YTD plastics exports.
China
China was the second-largest destination, with July exports valued at $21,613,873.
This represents a 14.81 percent month-on-month increase.
China’s year-to-date total for these exports is $137,637,227, making up 10.10 percent of the total YTD exports for this product.
Japan
Japan secured the third position in July with exports totaling $18,278,540.
This indicates a -0.13 percent month-on-month change.
Its year-to-date contribution to Vietnam’s plastics exports is $116,630,700, making up 8.56 percent of the total YTD exports.
India
India contributed $8,299,076 worth of plastics in July.
This country saw a -1.14 percent month-on-month change.
India’s year-to-date total for these exports is $79,968,291, accounting for 5.87 percent of the total YTD exports for this product.
Italy
Italy rounded out the top five export destinations with $7,263,393 in July exports.
This country saw a significant -47.97 percent month-on-month change.
Italy’s year-to-date total for these exports is $91,446,353, representing 6.71 percent of the total YTD exports for this category.
