The USA was Vietnam’s largest export market for these products in July, with values soaring to $36,428,098.
This marks a massive 73.97 percent month-on-month increase from June.
The USA’s year-to-date total stands at $145,888,345, accounting for 38.50 percent of all YTD exports.
Japan
Japan was the second-largest destination, with July exports valued at $7,406,320.
This represents a 12.36 percent month-on-month increase.
Japan’s year-to-date total for these exports is $46,853,343, making up 12.36 percent of the total YTD exports for this product.
Other
The “Other” category secured the third position in July with exports totaling $6,138,980.
This indicates a 0.76 percent month-on-month increase.
Its year-to-date contribution to Vietnam’s exports is $44,420,334, making up 11.72 percent of the total YTD exports.
Belgium
Belgium contributed $4,767,778 worth of precious stones and metals in July.
This country saw a -34.75 percent month-on-month change.
Belgium’s year-to-date total for these exports is $31,959,074, accounting for 8.43 percent of the total YTD exports for this product.
Thailand
Thailand rounded out the top five export destinations with $2,865,175 in July exports.
This country saw a significant 173.18 percent month-on-month increase.
Thailand’s year-to-date total for these exports is $15,582,106, representing 4.11 percent of the total YTD exports for this category.
