Industry: Vietnam’s July aluminium output stable with modest year-to-date growth
Vietnam produced an estimated 132,000 tonnes of aluminium in July 2025, slightly up from 131,000 tonnes in June, according to Vietnam’s National Office of Statistics.
Cumulative output for the first seven months of 2025 reached 897,600 tonnes, an increase of 3.6 percent compared with the same period last year.
July alone registered a year-on-year rise of 4.7 percent.
The figures reflect steady expansion in aluminium production, supported by both domestic demand in construction and manufacturing, and the growing role of Vietnam as a supplier to regional markets.
Aluminium remains an important industrial material for Vietnam, underpinning infrastructure projects and manufacturing supply chains.
The July results indicate stable growth momentum in the sector.
