The USA followed as the second-largest source, with June imports valued at $23,695,734.
This figure indicates a 31.34 percent month-on-month change.
The USA’s year-to-date total for these imports is $99,697,901, representing 10.18 percent of the total YTD imports for this product category.
Hong Kong
Hong Kong secured the third position in June with imports totaling $14,141,337.
This indicates a 108.26 percent month-on-month change.
Its year-to-date contribution to Vietnam’s imports of ferrous waste and scrap is $68,543,563, making up 7.00 percent of the total YTD imports.
Singapore
Singapore contributed $6,454,400 worth of ferrous waste and scrap in June.
Notably, Singapore experienced a 25.53 percent month-on-month increase.
