Vietnam’s production of fabrics woven from natural fibres reached 99.7 million square metres in August 2025, up from 94.0 million square metres in July.
According to the latest data from Vietnam’s National Statistics Office, output in August rose 5.2 percent year-on-year.
For the first eight months of 2025, cumulative production totalled 734.1 million square metres, an increase of 9.6 percent compared with the same period in 2024.
This growth reflects continued demand from both domestic garment makers and export-driven manufacturers.
The sector benefits from strong global demand for apparel, with natural-fibre fabrics forming a core input for Vietnam’s textile and garment industry.
Fabrics woven from natural fibres remain a key product in Vietnam’s industrial output, anchoring the supply chain of the garment and textile sector, which is among the country’s leading export industries.
