Vietnam’s milk powder production in August 2025 was estimated at 12,800 tons, slightly higher than 12,300 tons in July, according to the latest data from Vietnam’s National Office of Statistics.
Output in August rose 0.6 percent year-on-year.
From January to August 2025, cumulative milk powder production reached 99,000 tons, an increase of 4.6 percent compared with the same period in 2024.
This highlights steady growth in Vietnam’s dairy processing sector, driven by both rising domestic consumption and increased industrial use.
The modest year-on-year rise in August contrasts with stronger cumulative growth, reflecting seasonal demand patterns.
Expansion in production capacity and greater raw milk imports have supported output gains.
Milk powder plays a key role in Vietnam’s food processing industry, underpinning demand for dairy-based products in both consumer and export markets.
