Vietnam’s animal feed production in August 2025 was estimated at 1.29 million tons, slightly higher than 1.29 million tons in July, according to the latest data from Vietnam’s National Statistics Office.
Output in August rose 6.2 percent year-on-year.
For the first eight months of 2025, production reached 9.82 million tons, an increase of 9.1 percent compared with the same period last year.
The growth highlights strong demand from the livestock and aquaculture sectors, supported by rising domestic consumption and export markets.
Monthly figures show stable supply, while the cumulative rise underlines the importance of animal feed in Vietnam’s agricultural economy.
Expansion of feed mills and reliance on imported ingredients such as corn and soybeans continue to shape production dynamics.
Animal feed is a cornerstone of Vietnam’s food chain, underpinning growth in pork, poultry, and aquaculture production.
