May 2023: Firmenich International SA ("Firmenich"), a manufacturer of flavor and fragrance, and aroma chemicals, announced the completion of its merger with DSM. The two entities now operate as DSM-Firmenich, as a leading innovation partner in nutrition, health, and beauty.
March 2023: Solvay announced plans for the decarbonization of its Aroma plant in France. A new mass boiler will be added to the plant as a part of the plan. The decarbonized operations from its plant will begin by 2025 end.
March 2023: BASF SE announced an investment in new aroma ingredients plants in Ludwigshafen, Germany, in line with the growing demand for flavors and fragrances. The plant is expected to come on stream by 2026.
