- November 2024: Seipasa, a Spanish company specializing in the development, formulation, and production of bioinsecticides, bio fungicides, biostimulants, and nutritional treatments for agriculture, has obtained an extension of the approved uses of its bioinsecticide Pirecris in Spain. The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food has approved a new label that includes stone and pome fruit trees, berries (strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, blackberry), apricot, and persimmon.
- July 2024: Eden Research plc, an AIM-quoted company, has received authorization to expand the use of its biofungicide in Spain. The product, Mevalone, marketed as Araw in Spain by their commercial partner Sipcam Iberia, has obtained approval for expanded applications. The authorization covers treatment of powdery mildew on 22 additional crops, botrytis cinerea on 20 additional crops, rust disease on 8 additional crops, and sclerotinia on 4 additional crops.
